[chan-capi-users] asterisk breaks with capi not installed

Hi,
I downloaded ftp://ftp.melware.net/capi-utils/libcapi20-3.0.5-cm.tar.gz
./configure
make
make install

all looked ok, no errors
I even rebooted but after starting the diva cards with 
usr/lib/divas/divas_cfg.rc

capiinfo still shows the same problem.

sv3000:/store/OS/Debian/libcapi20# capiinfo
Number of Controllers : 4
Controller 1:
Manufacturer: Eicon Networks
CAPI Version: 2.0
                .
                .
                .
FAC REQ - Illegal application number (0x1101)

Is there more to do ?
Any info on how to build / install the libcapi20 ?
README was not very informative and I don't have any experience with that.

Would you have a link to a page more informative ?
Any idea or suggestion ?
