I changed CACH (Number of Call Appearances) on the Diva controller config from
"0 (off)" to "4", matching the programmming of the station. Now it calls out
just fine.

Using early B3 and an empty called number, I can get a dial tone from the
carrier, call my POTS line with in-band DTMF tones, and talk to it. When the
POTS line hangs up, it takes 10 seconds before the D channel sees a DISC (call
cleared), but I suppose that might be about right for a POTS line supervising.
If the ISDN BRI hangs up first, there's a "click" on the POTS line within
microseconds, as it also clears. (This is why I like digital carrier service.)

I only mention that to see if it matches other peoples' observations about how
POTS lines work these days. 10 seconds to hang up and run to the other phone
without dropping the call?
