[chan-capi-users] ISDN BRI PCI card recommendations please?

Can someone suggest the best ISDN BRI card option for me please?

I'm in an annoying situation where I need upgrade my Asterisk box. My
current box is running RedHat 9 and Asterisk 1.2. That OS (and Asterisk) is
so old that I can't even get Zaptel for Asterisk 1.4 to compile on it.

I was going to wipe it and install Centos 5 today but then I remembered that
after that I'll have to find drivers for the BT Speedway ISDN card (aka AMV
Fritz! PCI), compile and install them, then do something to get CAPI working
on it, then install chan_capi, then deal with Asterisk, then install
ISDN4hylafax or is it capi4hylafax, then install hylafax itself, then..
and....and....

Well, I just don't have the time these days to locate all that stuff and get
it all to work.

I think the biggest stumbling block is going to be my existing ISDN card,
the aforementioned AVM Fritz/BT Speedway card. If I recall correctly, it was
the biggest problem when I first set the box up.

So can anybody suggest a good ISDN BRI card that will give me the least
amount of hassle to get Asterisk/chan_capi/Hylafax to work with?

I'm based in the UK and prefer to use Centos 5 (32 bit not 64 -- the machine
is a 1Gig PIII) but I'm open to suggestions for the OS. I'd be moving up to
1.4 for this installation.

Thanks,

Faris.
